We work in close collaboration with families through open communication, respect and inclusion, ensuring each child’s experiences are supported consistently between home and the learning environment. These relationships create continuity, trust and a strong sense of belonging for every child.

Community engagement

Our connections extend into the wider community through regular excursions and experiences that support meaningful engagement beyond the learning environment.

Children visit local parks, libraries, shops and cultural spaces, building familiarity, confidence and curiosity about their community. These experiences help children develop a strong sense of belonging and connection to place.

Through these experiences, children are supported to see themselves as active participants in their world, building confidence, awareness and an understanding of community life.
